In a thousand years I'd never be able to catch up on all your work I've missed so I thought I'd start with one that touched me right off the bat. There is something both romantic and forlorn about this old rose...the fact that it is a single rose in a vase, suggests many possibilities. Lovers don't usually give single yellow roses - though that's possible. As possible...a single flower plucked from a funeral bouquet...and now the person is as unable to let go of it as to the loss itself. I love that I can find a story in everything you do. Beautiful clarity and form - F/V
